]]>Nearly 70 staff members gathered for Leston Holdings' very first Staff Appreciation Pancake Breakfast, a morning built entirely around saying thank you to the people who keep our properties, our tenants, and our company running every single day.
True to the spirit of a family-owned company, this wasn't a catered affair with leadership mingling from the sidelines. Our senior leadership team rolled up their sleeves and got to work at the griddle, cooking bacon, flipping pancakes, and crisping up hashbrowns for the team. Eggs were cooked to order, coffee kept flowing, and fresh fruit platters rounded out the spread.
Staff appreciation events like this one are about more than just a good breakfast. They're a chance to pause, connect across teams and departments, and recognize the people whose everyday work often goes unseen. For a company built on family values, moments like these are how we live out that identity, not just talk about it.
With turnout like this for our first event, it's safe to say the Staff Appreciation Pancake Breakfast will be an annual event that #TeamLeston will get to look forward to.
A big thank you to everyone who came out, and to our leadership team for putting appreciation into action, one pancake at a time!

]]>Last week, Team Leston had the pleasure of welcoming more than 60 guests from the City of Edmonton and surrounding communities to our newest building and Head Office — the LESTON at 10310 116 Street. The afternoon was part of the BILD Edmonton Metro series, and despite a little rain, the turnout was a beautiful reminder of what community really looks like.

Building a home isn't just about walls and windows; it's about creating spaces where people genuinely feel they belong. When we open our doors to neighbours, local leaders, and fellow community members, we get to do something we love: listen, connect, and share the vision behind what we build.
The conversations that happened that afternoon, about housing, about neighbourhoods, about what makes a community thrive, are exactly the kind that inspire us to keep doing this work thoughtfully. Every detail in the LESTON was designed with people in mind, and getting to walk guests through that story in person means everything to us.
To everyone who came out: thank you. We're proud to be part of this community, and we look forward to many more moments like this one.
